At the Florida Botanical Gardens (10 AM-1 PM):
Attend an Earth Day celebration at the Florida Botanical Gardens from 10 AM-1 PM. Our Children's Garden Educator will be leading kids activities in the Majeed Discovery Garden - open to kids of all ages and abilities. Our Gift Shop will be open with a special display showcasing eco-friendly goods for the home, books for “greener” living, and tips for a more sustainable lifestyle. We will also be offering two docent-led tours of the gardens, beginning at 10 AM and 11 AM. Registration is highly recommended as spaces are limited. Visit the event page for more information:www.flbgfoundation.org/EarthDay2024.

At Creative Pinellas (10 AM-5 PM):
In celebration of Earth Day, explore a variety of nature infused exhibitions and take part in multiple family activities at the Gallery, including drop-in art activities from 10am-2pm and, in partnership with 4H, a special workshop to create a Bristlebot Art-making Robot from 10:30am -12pm. (Pre-registration for Robot Workshop required). Then later that evening starting at 7:30pm or 8:30pm, we have a special Earth Day at Night event for you! Take part in A Nature Pix Meditation, a tranquil and meditative program guided by the soothing presence of Frederick Woods and designed around Mikhail Mansion’s Nature Pix exhibition. This free, intimate gathering, celebrating nature and art is limited to 20 attendees for each session. Before and after your session, enjoy music, lite bites, a cash bar in the gardens as well as the opportunity to spend time in the Nature Pix, Strength of Character, and Artistic Discovery galleries. For your comfort during the meditation session, please bring a rug, yoga mat, or towel to sit on. Spaces are limited.www.creativepinellas.org.

At Heritage Village (10 AM – 4 PM):
Experience the charm of Heritage Village's Old Homestead Forge and be amazed as our skilled Blacksmiths showcase leaf and flower forging activities from 10am to 2pm in celebration of Earth Day! Stay to delve into history at Pinellas County's 21-acre living history museum. Transport yourself back in time with a guided tour of historical buildings, discover the county's oldest structure from 1852, and browse through locally crafted artisan gifts and souvenirs at the gift shop. Don't miss the chance to explore the latest temporary exhibits, "Building the Sunshine City" at the Madeira Beach Cottage and "African American Contributions in North Pinellas" at the Union Academy. www.heritagevillagefl.org/
