Holiday Lights in the Gardens 2023

There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, with kids 12 and under free. Donations support our new Majeed Discovery Garden for children.

The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation is excited to announce the dates for its annual winter fundraiser, running from Friday, November 24th, 2023 through Sunday, December 31st, 2023. The Gardens will sparkle with 1 million, twinkling, LED lights in a multitude of colors. Vibrant laser lights and lighted figures round out our display to wow guests of all ages. The opening of our new Majeed Discovery Garden this September will take this already awesome event to the next level. You won't want to miss it! Interested in being a sponsor? Come enjoy our light display as you stroll along our many ADA compliant walkways. We do not offer wheelchairs or scooters for rent on site.

FAQ 

Q: Is there an entrance fee?

A: This is the Annual Fundraiser for the Botanical Gardens which enables us to maintain and grow the gardens and keep it open to the public for free 363 days a year. A donation of $10.00 per person is kindly requested to support our mission, children 12 and under are free.

Q: Where are the entrances to the event?  

A: There are 3 entrances : Poinsettia, Snowflake and Blue Heron. You will receive a corresponding-colored sticker when you arrive at these entrances to help you remember where you entered/parked.


Q: Where do I park my car?

A: Passenger car parking is located at either 12520 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL 33774 or 12211 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL 33778. Bus parking is available at our Green Turtle Entrance.


Q: May I arrange a Group Tour?

A: Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to contact our office in advance, so we can help make your experience a memorable one: 727-582-2117 and review our Group & Bus Instructions.

Q: Is there food for purchase?

A: Yes, there is food and non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks available for purchase at our Palm Pavilion in the McKay Creek Plaza. We are excited to be partnering with St. Pete Concessions again this year!

Q: Are pets allowed?

Yes, leashed pets are welcome in outdoor areas. Invisible leashes are not permitted.

Q: Is the Gift Shop open?

Yes, the Gift Shop will be open during Holiday Lights in the Gardens. Stay tuned for details upon the opening of the Gift Shop's new location out in the Tropical Pavilion.
