The Florida Botanical Gardens are a 100-acre Park, managed by the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department, and supported by the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation. The Gardens inspire and educate visitors by showcasing flora, fauna and natural resources in motivational surroundings that promote environmentally friendly techniques.

The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation (FBGF) is excited to announce Gayle Cooper as the Volunteer of the Year for Fiscal Year 2023. She is actively involved in plant procurement and maintenance of the Butterfly Garden. Gayle has always loved plants, and has logged over 2,000 Master Gardener hours. She’s been volunteering with us for 15 years now, including four years on the FBGF Board of Directors.Thank you, Gayle, for your dedication and involvement with us!
This children's garden is a 2+ acre site located on the Ulmerton side of the Florida Botanical Gardens (12520 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL 33774). It is free admission and free parking, and has many interactive features for kids of all ages to enjoy.
In addition, our Children's Garden Educator offers preschool and family programs in the Majeed Discovery Garden. Click on the Event Calendar to browse the programs and to register. This Garden is also the perfect place to have birthday parties and other events. Click the Rentals tab for more information.
